Tatsuhiko Koike

Tatsuhiko Koike is a researcher at the Keio Quantum Computing Center. His studies quantum foundations and quantum information, including applications of quantum measurement theory to quantum information processing and construction of a general framework for time-optimal quantum controls which is called quantum brachistochrone.

Tatsuhiko Koike received his B.S. (1991) in Science at the University of Tokyo, and his M.Sc. (1993) and Ph.D. (1996) in Science at Tokyo Institute of Technology. From 1996 to 2009, he was an Intructor at the Department of Physics, Keio University. During then, from 2000 to 2001, he was an Overseas Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science at the University of Maryland.

He is currently an Assitant Professor at the Department of Physics, Keio University. His research interests are quantum foundations, quantum information, general relativity and cosmology.
